Variety - The Children’s Charity of Greater Philadelphia opened its Delaware Division on March 28, 2005 as part of an effort to better serve children with disabilities in the First State. 100% of the funds raised in Delaware stay in Delaware. Variety is excited to spread the word about the charity’s Delaware Division as it reaches out and continues its mission to improve the quality of life for children with disabilities.
Delaware Advisory Board
Variety - The Children’s Charity: Delaware Division owes much of its success to the support and dedication of its Advisory Board members. This Delaware Advisory Board is a subdivision of Variety of Greater Philadelphia’s Senior Board. Click Here to meet them.
Programs
Direct Care for Kids
- This last resort program provides families with much needed medical equipment and aids for living such as, wheelchairs, walkers, and braces.
After School Program
- Variety - The Children’s Charity provides a safe environment for students with disabilities to engage in educational, recreational, therapeutic, cultural, and social activities during the after school hours. Variety: Delaware’s current after school program locations include:

Variety at Play
- Variety volunteers donate their time to organize special events throughout the year for children, such as our Annual Holiday Party, Sesame Place Challenge, Blue Rocks Outings, and more. Click Here to learn more.
Variety Club Camp & Developmental Center
- This nationally acclaimed year-round facility gives children with disabilities the opportunity to participate in many recreational activities including summer camp, swimming, dancing, and weekend retreats. Click Here to learn more.
